Hello! Hello! I'm not even sure there is anyone still out there. *snicker*
Flat Betty took a bit of "Maternity leave" with me this winter. We searched the internet for a worthy cause for 2009. Didn't find anything too exciting that would also get our Hostesses involved....and the economy just got worse and worse. There are so many people losing their jobs and having a hard time making ends meet that we decided to take a different course for 2009.
Flat Betty is on Haitus for now. We didn't want to put anymore financial strain on others as she was shipped around and collected your generous donations, etc.
For now she will stay here and help me raise my newest bundle and see where 2009 takes our nation, financially. If you have any wonderful ideas for next years Charity or organization please leave a comment.

Flat betty is such a hoot!
I have been so slow to request a visit from Ms Betty and now I find that she's taking some time off???? My Young Women from church might really dig a visit from her and fulfill a service project all at once. Would it be possible for her to have one more outing? Could you put in a good word for me with Betty while I talk to my girls, please?
Hello! We would love to have Betty help out children with heart disease!! My son, Taylor was born with half of a heart and he's endured 4 open heart surgeries- today we run free medically supervised summer camp for children with this number one birth defect.
